Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Marketing, Sales, Events & Communications Manager to join our growing team. The customer experience is at the heart of everything we do.
This individual will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies, driving sales initiatives, coordinating events, and enhancing internal and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
* Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. Conduct regular customer and market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
* Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and business development team to create materials, presentations, and promotional strategies that align with sales targets and market demands. Utilise CRM tools to track customer interactions, analyse sales pipelines, and client satisfaction.
* Event Management: Prioritise, Plan, organize, and execute company events (conferences, webinars, trade shows, client meetings) from concept to completion, ensuring value for money.
* Communications: Oversee internal and external communications, ensuring the brand message is consistent across all channels, including Exergy3’s website, social media, press releases, and newsletters. Develop engaging content across all channels ensuring content is tailored to audience needs and company goals.
* Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and event outcomes, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
* Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments, such as sales, product development, and design, to ensure alignment of company goals and messaging. Work closely with the Exergy3 team to ensure alignment in strategy and customer experience. Be flexible to both customer and company needs and be willing to jump in and support all areas of the business.
Requirements
* Proven experience in marketing, sales, events management, and communications.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms. Experience of AI a plus.
* A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative solutions.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and adjust strategies based on data.
* Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Event planning and execution experience, including virtual and in-person events.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

What we offer
* A supportive, inclusive team culture. We value diverse perspectives and encourage collaboration.
* £40k - £55k per annum depending on experience, and EMI options after 6 months.
* 34 days annual leave (25 flexible + 9 fixed annual leave days which can either be the Scottish Bank Holidays or aligned to the school term breaks in your council area of residence.)
* Edinburgh based, but opportunity for Hybrid working
* Compressed Hours (35 hr/week)
* The role will require occasional travel to support events.
