Job Summary
Responsible for the operational delivery of all Procurement Projects in the site Procurement team, such as Work Transfers, Major aircraft modifications, and New Product Introduction (NPI).
This role acts as a key link with the Procurement Global Commodity team to ensure the execution of commodity strategies on site.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and execute project plans for Procurement Work Transfers, Major aircraft modifications, and NPI within the supply base.
* Coordinate with the Global Procurement Commodity team, site Procurement team, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
* Manage site resources to deliver projects within set timescales.
* Follow risk management processes for each procurement project.
* Communicate effectively with internal customers regarding project status and ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
* Complete supplier readiness reviews and capacity activities supporting projects.
* Ensure on-time delivery and quality of parts until parts pass FAI.
* Ensure seamless handover of projects to the site.
* Manage resources to meet project objectives.
Required Qualifications
* BSc degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or Science.
* At least 10 years of relevant business experience.
* Minimum of 5 years in Procurement Management roles.
* Significant project management experience.
* Experience with an international supply base.
* Ability to build strong supplier relationships and understand supplier processes.
* Proven leadership in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong understanding of the Aerospace industry and related trends.
* Core competencies: analytical skills, decisiveness, customer focus, environmental awareness, organizational sensitivity, planning, results orientation.
