About W Edinburgh Kitchen
W Edinburgh brings exciting new culinary destinations to the capital of Scotland. Situated on the 10th and 11th floors of the hotel, the spaces offer unrivalled panoramic view across the city, making it one of the most beautiful places in Edinburgh to dine.
Our signature restaurant is a partnership with SUSHISAMBA, which celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru. The menus are a mix of new and signature dishes with an emphasis on bold flavours, the finest ingredients and artful presentations.
W Lounge is W Edinburgh’s social hub for guests and locals alike. Open from 9am until late, W Lounge will showcase the best of Gaelic produce in its food offering, complemented with innovative beverage concepts.
Additionally there is innovative Breakfast, Room Service and Event menus. Supporting all aspects of the kitchen operation will give you the opportunity to find where your passion truly lies.

Responsibilities
* Work in partnership with the Kitchen’s leadership team to recruit, train and mentor junior members of the team
* Develop a supportive and nurturing atmosphere within the team
* Assist in developing new menu items
* Take responsibility for sections of the kitchen
* Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
* Lead by example, demonstrating culinary excellence and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.
* Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to our high standards.

About the Property
W Edinburgh will bring bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a façade featuring a winding steel ribbon – reflecting the city’s festival spirit – this 12‑storey structure will be the centerpiece of Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.
This W hotel aims to help redefine the city’s hospitality landscape. Accordingly, it will fuse the brand’s signature amenities with modern design and W Happenings, highlighting what’s new in design, fashion, music and culture.
The new W hotel will accommodate guests across 244 stylish guestrooms, including 45 suites. Guests will benefit from the brand’s signature Whatever / Whenever service philosophy.
A real highlight of this property will be its rooftop bar and outdoor terrace, pairing exciting cocktails and cuisine with 360‑degree views over the historic city.
