A highly innovative global engineering organisation is seeking an interim Buyer. This is a 3–6-month contract opportunity focused on operational procurement and materials management, ensuring continuity of supply and supporting production requirements within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. The role will work closely with engineering, production and planning teams to ensure materials, components and supplier deliveries are aligned with manufacturing schedules. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operational procurement activity across electronic components and manufacturing materials Coordinate closely with suppliers and Contract Electronic Manufacturers (CEMs) to ensure on-time delivery Support materials planning and inventory management to maintain production continuity Monitor supplier performance, lead times and delivery schedules Raise and manage purchase orders, expediting where required to prevent supply disruption.
