Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and organised HR and Recruitment Assistant to join our office team. You will play a key role in helping us recruit, onboard, and support our frontline care staff. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and is passionate about making a difference behind the scenes in the care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the full recruitment cycle: advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters
* Support the onboarding process: completing compliance checks (DBS, references), managing induction paperwork, and scheduling training
* Maintain and update employee records in line with CQC and company requirements
* Assist with staff communications, training reminders, and policy updates
* Handle day-to-day HR admin, including holiday tracking, training logs, and queries
* Work closely with the care coordination and management teams to ensure staffing needs are met
* Ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times
Requirements:
* Experience in HR or recruitment (care sector experience preferred)
* Understanding/ Knowledge of the care or health sector
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confidence working with Microsoft Office and digital systems
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
* Discretion, reliability, and a team-focused approach
