This successful and growing practice supports a diverse client base across a wide range of industries, delivering services including accounts, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and management accounts, alongside more specialist advisory work. As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will take on a varied and hands on role, managing your own portfolio while supporting and developing the wider team. You will play a key part in both compliance and advisory work, with the opportunity to add real value to your clients. Key responsibilities will include: Managing a varied portfolio of SME and owner managed business clients Reviewing statutory accounts and tax work prepared by junior staff Remaining hands on across accounts and tax where required Acting as the main point of contact for your clients Identifying advisory opportunities and supporting client growth Mentoring, supervising and developing junior team members Contributing to business development and gradually building your own fee base This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager looking to join a progressive and supportive firm with genuine scope for progression. RequirementsAccounts & Tax Manager Maidstone You will have a career background in accountancy practice preparing a mix of accounts, tax, management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT services for a variation of clients to include limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. You will have at least 3 - 5 years' experience, or more ideally gained within accountancy practice and be looking to further your career. You will be ACCA/ACA qualified or have developed your career through experience only. BenefitsAccounts & Tax Manager Maidstone £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
