Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring, challenging and motivating teams and individuals to achieve excellence. You will make a significant contribution to the college’s aim to provide outstanding quality in teaching, learning, assessment, as well as curriculum design and delivery.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the development and planning of teaching and learning including schemes of work for units, programmes, modules and qualifications.
* Work closely with the Head of Department to support curriculum development such as new programme proposals, awarding body approval and developing infrastructure for new course delivery.
* Manage a dedicated team providing outstanding leadership in the department through target setting, monitoring performance and improving quality.
* Ensure alignment with the college’s vision for diversity, inclusion and safeguarding.

This role is 50% teaching and 50% management. We are unable to provide skilled worker sponsorship for this position; applicants must have the right to work in the country without the need for sponsorship. All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
