Driver Hire Teesside are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Lead Driver for a full-time position based in the Eaglescliffe area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking to step into a leadership role, supporting both drivers and transport operations.
💼 The Role
1. Driving Class 2 vehicles (including tipper / mixer work)
2. Supporting planners with route optimisation
3. Assisting with driver start/finish times and daily operations
4. Monitoring tachograph compliance and downloads
5. Ensuring vehicle checks and cleanliness standards are maintained
6. Acting as a key point of support within the driver team

✅ What We’re Looking For
7. Minimum 2 years Class 2 (C) experience
8. Strong understanding of driver hours & tachograph regulations
9. Good communication and organisational skills
10. Ability to support and guide other drivers
11. Cement mixer / tipper experience preferred (training available)
