We are seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing demeanor. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery and promoting the holistic development of the children in your care. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences that support children learning and development. Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Support children personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and nap times. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open and effective communication at all times. Observe and assess children progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development. Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and inclusive nursery environment. Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting preferred. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Paediatric First Aid qualification desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
