We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join our team.

We prioritize quality over quantity, enhancing the overall educational experience for children.
Main duties of the role:
1. Take lead responsibility for an area of the curriculum within the school, supporting the SLT in curriculum design, qualifications, and line management of staff in your curriculum area.
2. Embed the teaching of reading, writing, and communication throughout the curriculum.
3. Understand the SEN Code of Practice for identification and assessment of Special Educational Needs.
4. Work collaboratively with all staff, pastoral staff, and multi-agency teams to promote high expectations for attendance.
5. Be inspired by the school's culture based on the Thrive model and trauma-informed approach using PACE.
6. Support joined-up working between Stable Futures and the Paddocks, which facilitate aspects of the personal development scheme of work.
7. Assist in implementing weekly personal development sessions.
8. Support students to become confident, self-assured learners with excellent attitudes to learning, positively impacting their progress and preparing them for the next stage in their education, training, or employment.
9. Undertake the role of Tutor and be the first point of contact for parents/carers of students in the Tutor Group.
10. Collaborate with the therapeutic team to provide bespoke support based on children's needs and trends.
