We’re seeking an experienced Senior SEND Officer to join the Preparation for Adulthood Review Team on an interim basis. This role replaces a recently departed team member and requires someone who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage Annual Reviews and Phase Transfer Reviews
2. Coordinate follow-up actions to ensure compliant, timely outcomes
3. Handle complex casework for young people’s pathways to adulthood
4. Collaborate with multi-agency teams to support positive transitions and outcomes
Ideal Profile:
5. Proven experience within Local Authority SEND services
6. Strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHC Plan processes
7. Skilled in managing high caseloads and complex transitions
8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
