An established primary school in Wigan is looking to appoint a highly experienced, assured Year 5 teacher from April. This post is suited to a confident Upper KS2 educator who brings clarity, consistency and ambition to the classroom. This school is seeking a teacher who is secure in their practice and able to lead learning with confidence.
What You’ll Be Trusted With:
* Delivering purposeful, well-paced lessons that prepare pupils for the demands of Upper KS2 and beyond
* Establishing clear routines and expectations that promote focus, independence and positive behaviour
* Using assessment intelligently to adapt teaching and raise attainment
* Contributing to team planning, moderation and wider school life
The Right Educator Will:
* Hold QTS and have proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2
* Be confident teaching pupils working at and above age-related expectations
* Demonstrate strong classroom presence and behaviour management
* Be adaptable, resilient and solution-focused
* Have a clear understanding of how to support a wide range of needs, including SEND and SEMH
