The Workforce Analyst provides the analytical foundation for organisation design and workforce planning across the Group. You'll develop robust workforce data, models and insight that support evidence-based decisions about capacity, skills and structure, helping leaders plan sustainably and avoid reactive change.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights that support both organisational performance and a more sustainable experience of work for employees.
What you'll do
* Develop and maintain workforce analytics to support organisation design and transformation activity.
* Provide insight on workforce size, cost, composition, spans, layers and productivity, highlighting opportunities and risks.
* Build scenario models and analysis to inform OD decisions, including capability, resilience and workload considerations.
* Support strategic and operational workforce planning aligned to business priorities.
* Identify workforce risks, gaps and trends, including skills, capacity, critical roles and sustainability.
* Provide analytical support to operating model changes, ensuring assumptions are clear and evidence is robust.
* Track workforce impacts and deliverables from OD activity.
* Ensure accuracy, integrity and consistency of workforce data; maintain documentation of assumptions, methodologies and models.
* Produce clear, accessible insight for senior and non-technical stakeholders.
What you’ll need
* Experience in workforce analytics, HR analytics, workforce planning or a similar analytical role.
* Strong quantitative and analytical capability, including workforce modelling.
* Ability to translate data into clear insights that inform decisions.
* High attention to detail and a strong data governance mindset.
* Commercial awareness; connecting workforce insight to cost, delivery and outcomes.
* Confident communicator able to engage non-technical audiences.
* Experience with HR systems and analytics tools (desirable); professional qualification/study in analytics, HR or related discipline (desirable).
