ROLE: Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION: Accrington, Lancashire
SALARY: Circa £40’000 - £45’000 – 4 day working week – Monday to Thursday

We are on the hunt for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and elevate the customer experience from concept to completion.
What you will bring to the team:
* A highly motivated self-starter.
* Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 year+ experience in machined components.
* Customer exposure and strong communicational skills.
* Driven to be a strong team player.
* 3D CAD modelling and 2D Inventor knowledge or similar.
* Educated to degree level with a mechanical engineering degree.
* Hands on – with the mind set to work across all areas of the product cycle.
* Can think outside the box to solve engineering design for bespoke requests.
* Ability to take a design from concept to production to build to testing to operating manuals.
* Working with and supporting cross departmental peers.
* Hydraulics experience is beneficial.
