We are seeking an experienced and passionate Farm Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our new school farm. This is not just a job - it's an opportunity to help shape an innovative, student-led, outdoor curriculum focused on farming, rewilding, sustainability, and community engagement. You'll work closely with our teachers, therapists, and students to build a thriving, inclusive provision where young people learn by doing - caring for animals, managing the land, planting and harvesting, and connecting deeply with the rhythms of nature.
* Have a genuine passion for nature, outdoor learning, and an inclusive environment.
* Supporting our students can sometimes be challenging; mental and physical resilience are qualities necessary for all our staff.
* Experience in farming, horticulture, or animal husbandry.
* Understanding or interest in how land-based learning can support emotional regulation, communication, and independence.
* Experience working with children with special needs and challenging behaviour.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and LSAs.
* Ability to work collaboratively with children with additional needs in a patient, creative, and flexible way.
The role is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday (to be confirmed), approximately 42.5 hours per week. Salary is dependent on experience and skills.
