Creative Design Manager – Salary circa £40,000
Contract type: Fixed term (12-months)

This is a great role for a passionate individual with creative energy, technical flair and brilliant communication skills. We’re looking for a multi-skilled creative who brings fresh thinking and has experience in managing creative teams. You’ll be leading on end-to-end campaigns, from creative ideation through to delivery across multiple channels and formats. Whether you come from an agency or in-house creative team, you’re now ready to embrace a role that blends ideation, execution and people management.
A bit about the job:
This role sits within Aviva’s in-house creative team, the Creative Hub. You’ll be responsible for driving projects from creative ideation through to implementation and rollout, whilst maintaining outstanding attention to detail across all creative output. You’ll have the ability to spot creative and cultural trends across social, video, photography, typography and animation. A key part of the role will be managing and mentoring designers, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables. You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-paced team that’s passionate about creating engaging, high-quality content that connects with our audiences.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end creative campaigns from ideation through delivery across multiple channels and formats.
* Drive projects from creative concept to implementation while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage and mentor designers to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
* Identify and apply creative and cultural trends across social, video, photography, typography and animation.
* Foster a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering engaging content.
Qualifications
* The ability to interpret briefs grounded in customer insight, commercial decisions and memorable creative work.
* Proven experience in thinking creatively and leading end-to-end campaigns, with expertise in asset production across video, digital, social and print, with strong attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects) and Figma. Experience using tools and tech to drive efficiencies, speed to market and consistency.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and maintain high creative standards.
* Confident team leader with experience in mentoring and inspiring other designers and strong people-management skills.

* Salary circa £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
