Job Purpose:
The Communications Manager will shape and deliver the communication strategy for The Hammond, encompassing both internal and external communication efforts. They will ensure consistent messaging, manage media relations, and build positive relationships with stakeholders. This role is crucial in promoting The Hammond's brand and public image ensuring effective communication with various audiences to achieve The Hammonds commercial strategy.
Marketing
· Supervising projects to make sure all content is publication-ready
· Co-ordinate and manage annual communications schedule.
· Manage The Hammond's website, including copy updates, liaison with designers / developers and reporting of analytical data.
· Building and maintaining a brand's presence across multiple social media channels
Digital Marketing
· Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC)
· Building and maintaining The Hammond's presence across multiple social media channels
· Creating, executing and monitoring marketing campaign budgets.
Internal Communications
· Correspond with Hammond employees and external collaborators to keep them informed of recent developments.
· Develop strategies to improve employee awareness and productivity.
Person Specification
· Must have at least 5 years of experience working in communications, PR or marketing roles. At least two of those years must have been spent working in a management or leadership role.
· Have extensive experience across multiple communications channels and some experience working on long-term strategies as part of a successful marketing campaign.
· Be experienced with Search Engine Optimisation
· Be a creative individual with a keen eye for detail
· Work well within a team and using your own initiative
· Thrive working well to deadlines
· Be confident and friendly and able to communicate with employees and customers at all levels
· Have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask
· Be flexible and ready to turn your hand to a wide range of tasks
