An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician
* Utilising your expanding knowledge of Toyota vehicles and features, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of our customers’ vehicles to exemplary standards within our state‑of‑the‑art workshop.
* You will be carrying out work on a diverse range of Toyota vehicles, taking pride in your work and completing your jobs to the highest standard.
* Working as part of a capable and motivated team, you will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
* You will accurately and skillfully complete and provide diagnostic reports on our customers’ vehicles.
* In accordance with manufacturer, warranty and dealer requirements, you will complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports.
* Upon completion of jobs, through the use of diagnostic equipment and road testing, you will check the level and quality of work that has been carried out.
About You
* We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role.
* As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
* You will have the ability to work well under pressure – your technical ability will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way.
* An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
* MOT Licence would also be beneficial but is not essential.
* You must hold a full UK driving licence.
* We want you to love what you do – the rest will come naturally.
