Radiance Energy has been a prominent player in the European PV market since 2006. Historically, we have been offering both EPC and O&M services, though more recently we have made the decision to place ourselves firmly on the map by becoming a full-service Independent Power Producer.


We are fully owned and backed by the €35 billion European Investment Group, Eurazeo.


Our offerings as of today include, the planning, funding, construction, and operations management of utility scale and C&I PV projects. We deliver renewable energy solutions across the Benelux, France, Portugal and the UK and have brought over 200MW of capacity online, have a development portfolio of over 1.5GW whilst still managing another 180MW of operating assets.


Purpose:

As a key member of the Development team the BDM will be responsible for

* Responsible for the identification, analysis, and securing of new solar/hybrid BESS/AgriPV prospects.
* Managing the local land agent network
* Liaising with the project development and GIS teams to develop all projects within your chosen region.
1. The successful candidate will have a proven portfolio of identified and secured renewable energy projects across France.


This position reports to the Country Manager UK.


Responsibilities we will trust you with:

* The establishment, development, and monitoring of a local network with key stakeholders in the area: local authorities, landowners, major accounts, business providers, departmental and regional administrations...
* The search for new solar and agrivoltaic project opportunities through concerted work with the GIS team involving cartographic studies and/or databases;
* The analysis of issues (technical, environmental, etc.) and local consultation (residents, landowners, local authorities, administrations...) on identified sites;
* The securing of land for selected sites;
* The preparation of response files for Project Tenders from local authorities and industrial companies;
* The identification and implementation of new prospecting methods and strategies.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

* Bachelors level with a specialization in renewable energy, agronomy, environmental studies, or project management. We are of course open to work experienced candidates as well.
* 3/5 years of professional experience in a similar role (land prospecting, renewable energy, business development/technical sales engineer...).
* Highly motivated to work in a multifaceted environment, you are organized, open-minded, and autonomous. You are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal skills with all types of stakeholders, excellent verbal and written communication.
* Solid analytical skills, strong adaptability, and efficiency.
* Knowledge of the agricultural sector is a plus, as well as understanding the functioning of local authorities and/or administrations in the UK.
* Proficient in reading and writing in English.
* A valid driver's license (more than 1 year) is essential (travel required).
