Senior Civil and Structural Engineer | Manchester
Vertical Recruitment are working with an established civil and structural engineering consultancy with a modern Manchester city centre studio. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to appoint a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to support ongoing project delivery and team growth.
The Opportunity
This role suits an experienced engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through to construction, acting as lead C and S consultant and mentoring junior engineers. You’ll work closely with clients and design teams, delivering high quality civil and structural solutions across a varied workload.
Projects
* Small to large scale developments
The Role
* Lead civil and structural design on projects
* Manage programmes, budgets and quality
* Produce and review calculations and technical reports
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
* Mentor and support junior engineers
* Undertake site inspections and client meetings
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Chartered or near Chartered ICE or IStructE
* Confident client facing and project delivery skills
