We are looking to expand our team to help deliver a great customer experience in our garden centre by helping to maintain a high level of customer care and service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting customers with their purchases, which may include carrying goods to cars and loading trolleys for them.
* Till operation
* Pricing and displaying stock
* Watering plants
* Receiving goods in
* Ensuring sales and shop areas are in a tidy and presentable condition
* Helping bring stock from the nursery to garden centre, which would include top dressing and labelling plants.
* Other duties to assist in the day to day running of the business.
Essentials Skills:
* Good verbal communication skills both with customers and colleagues
* A team player with a positive outlook
* Punctuality
* Good numerical and literacy skills
* A strong interest in Horticulture
* A love of the outdoors
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in a retail environment
* Experience and knowledge of Horticulture
Hours are from 8.30am to 5.00pm and will include every 2nd weekend. The position is a seasonal contract.
