MDMS is looking for enthusiastic Midday Meal Supervisors to join our teams in primary schools across Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, interact with children, and help make lunchtime a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What You’ll Do
As a Midday Meal Supervisor, your main focus will be supervising pupils during the lunchtime period. Your duties include:
* Monitoring pupils in dining areas, classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds
* Supporting younger pupils or those needing extra help during mealtimes
* Encouraging polite, respectful behaviour and good manners
* Making sure pupils with allergies or dietary needs are safe and supported
* Supervising outdoor play and ensuring safe use of equipment
* Promoting inclusive games and activities during break
* Helping to resolve minor disputes between children calmly
* Offering reassurance to children who feel upset or overwhelmed
* Providing basic first aid if necessary (training provided)
* Reporting incidents, accidents, or safeguarding concerns to school staff
* Following school policies and working closely with lunchtime supervisors and teaching staff
You will be a reliable and friendly presence that children can count on.
