Salary Range: MPS Point 1 – Point 6, £31,650 - £43,607 + SEN if QTS £2,679.

We are seeking a passionate SEMH Teacher who is ready to tackle the challenges and reap the immense rewards of working with students who have social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching to students up to GCSE level, adapting to their individual learning needs.
* Engage and motivate students who have been missing from education or excluded from mainstream schools.
* Maintain a high staff to pupil ratio, ensuring each student receives the attention they need to thrive.
* Collaborate with a supportive management team and colleagues to share best practices and strategies.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods to facilitate learning and development.
* Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a teacher, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level.
* Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEBD.
* A resilient and patient approach, with a commitment to driving educational outcomes.
* Qualifications in Education, with a focus on special educational needs (SEN) being highly advantageous.
* Must undergo safeguarding screening, including checks with the Disclosure & Barring Service and provide at least 2 references covering the last 3 years.
