Senior Project Manager - Design & Build

The Opportunity
This is a senior hire with genuine influence. Rather than recruiting for a fixed "slot", the business is focused on finding the right person-someone who brings leadership, rigour, and a passion for delivering outstanding projects. You'll lead complex workplace projects from pitch to completion, working closely with clients, designers, commercial teams, and site delivery teams to ensure every project is delivered safely, profitably, and to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Lead multiple workplace design & build projects from inception to handover.
Drive programme, quality, cost, and risk management with absolute ownership.
Champion best‑in‑class delivery standards and ensure compliance across all stages.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trust and long‑term relationships.
Translate client vision into clear delivery strategies and technical requirements.
Manage expectations with clarity, confidence, and commercial awareness.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with design, commercial, and site teams to ensure seamless coordination.
Mentor and support PMs and APMs, contributing to the development of the wider team.
Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
Commercial & Technical Oversight
Oversee project budgets, procurement strategies, and contract administration.
Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation plans.
Ensure all health & safety requirements are met and exceeded.
What You Bring
Proven experience delivering CAT A & CAT B workplace projects within the D&B sector.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets with precision.
Exceptional communication and client‑facing skills.
