Job Description
Relief General Kitchen Assistant - YGG Llangynwyd. As and When Needed, Term Time.
Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.
The role includes assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff. You will be required to lay out dining tables and chairs and, in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal - training will be provided upon start.
Cover at schools across the County Borough is a requirement of the role as well as having a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training will be provided if necessary to help you obtain this.
Working hours will be between the hours of 10.00am and 2.30pm, to support the mid-morning break and lunchtime periods, Monday to Friday, term time only.
