We are seeking an Assistant Principal for KS3. This role carries significant responsibility for leading Key Stage 3 and ensuring that pupils build strong foundations during this vital stage of their education. You will work closely with senior leaders to oversee academic progress as well as attendance, punctuality, behaviour, uniform – the key factors that create the climate for effective teaching, learning, and progress to take place.
Hatcham College is a multi-site school and therefore this position is more senior than an Assistant Principal role on a single site school.
A key part of the role will be driving improvement across KS3, ensuring consistency in standards, and supporting staff in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils. Alongside this, you will contribute to the wider strategic direction of the school. This includes line managing staff, monitoring performance, and supporting professional growth to raise attainment.
You will also work with pupils and parents to strengthen engagement and ensure high levels of achievement and progress. The role offers the chance for an experienced leader to make a meaningful impact, working as part of a strong leadership team, and shaping the future success of Hatcham College.
