We are urgently seeking a Dermatology Consultant to support a busy outpatient department in Sussex .

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Until End of August (Initial Contract – Potential for Extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Employment Type: Locum / Contract
This is a rewarding short-term role for a highly skilled Consultant to provide essential clinical services in a well-respected NHS Trust.
Key Requirements:
* Must be on the GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology
* Available to start ASAP
* Strong outpatient and minor surgery experience
* Comfortable working full-time: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver day-to-day clinical care for dermatology patients in an outpatient setting
* Conduct new and follow-up consultations, including diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of dermatological conditions
* Participate in specialist dermatology clinics, such as:
o Skin cancer
o Inflammatory dermatoses
o Other subspecialties as required
* Perform minor surgical procedures in day case theatre sessions, including:
o Skin excisions
o Punch and shave biopsies
* Work collaboratively with nursing staff, dermatology teams, and other specialists
