Job Summary:
The role consists of 16-18 hours per week (8-9 hours per day). The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and supported to flourish in an environment which promotes each staff member to be the best version of themselves.

Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
* Assist in managing the nursery team, providing leadership and guidance to peers.
* Maintain compliance with childcare regulations and standards.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes -
* Have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare.
* Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
* Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework.
* Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice.
* Ideally previous experience in a similar role
* Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family
* Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities
* Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
