Job Title: Administrator
The following post has become available within KMPT for a dynamic, self-motivated, forward-thinking Administrator. The position will be within the Ashford & Canterbury Mental Health Together (MHT) administration team, based at Laurel House, Canterbury, for 30 hours per week. The role provides full secretarial and administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a Grade C or above GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent, and possess an NVQ Level 3/RSA3 or equivalent. This post is subject to a six-month probationary period. Prior to interview, you will be required to undertake numeracy, literacy, and Trust values tests.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent organisational and keyboard skills, be a competent audio typist, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines, adaptability to changing situations, and effective work prioritisation are essential.

Responsibilities
High-quality administrative services are essential for the smooth operation of our service. Your days will be varied and challenging. Responsibilities include:
1. Opening and despatch of post, date stamping
2. Answering telephone calls
3. Data entry, including referrals and test results
4. Checking relevant systems such as RiO for appointments
5. Liaising with internal departments
6. Photocopying and document preparation
7. Printing reports and spreadsheets
8. Handling confidential information
9. Laminating and binding documents
10. Booking appointments and arranging meetings
11. Diary management
12. Ordering supplies
13. Supervising Band 2 Administrative Assistant
14. Minuting meetings
