Our client, a coeducational secondary school with academy status based in Halstead, Essex, is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Design and Technology Teacher to join their successful and well-resourced department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students’ learning and progress across Key Stages 3 and 4.
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will deliver a broad curriculum that may include Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and/or Food Technology, depending on your specialism. You’ll foster creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What They’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status with a specialism in Design and Technology
* Experience teaching DT across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for hands-on, practical learning
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to curriculum development and extra-curricular enrichment
