THE ROLE:
1. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of criminal and prosecution matters.
2. Responsibilities include court advocacy and advisory work on complex and sensitive issues for a broad range of clients.
3. Following an initial training period, your typical week will involve most of your time in court prosecuting a variety of offences and applying your skills to secure effective outcomes.
4. The remaining time will be dedicated to preparing cases.
THE CANDIDATE:
1. Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales.
2. Candidates must have resided in the UK for at least five years.
3. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to deliver well-reasoned judgments.
4. Experience in contentious law is advantageous, but candidates from all legal backgrounds eager to learn and retrain are encouraged to apply.
