The Team
The Small Medium Business (SMB) teams are responsible for Deliveroo's relationships with thousands of independent restaurant and retail partners operating on the Deliveroo marketplace across several European markets. They focus on partner growth and operational support throughout the full lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding to reactive support and proactive account management.
The Role
As a Part-Time UKI Sales Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) dedicated to acquiring new restaurant partners for the Deliveroo platform. Your key responsibilities include enhancing team performance on KPIs such as productivity, effectiveness, sales skills, conversion rates, and commercial value. You will ensure a positive onboarding experience for partners and maximize their lifetime value on the platform.
In 2025, the focus will be on growth and coaching. You will oversee outbound call campaigns to achieve business targets, manage your KPIs, and ensure team cohesion between full-time and part-time staff.
This role involves working evening shifts (4pm - 8pm, Monday to Friday) in Manchester, with a hybrid work model requiring three days in the office weekly, reporting to the SMB Head of Sales.
What you'll do
* Manage outbound SDRs to acquire quality partners, generate sales opportunities, and utilize Salesforce effectively.
* Execute contact campaigns aligned with strategic goals to meet sales, experience, and qualitative metrics.
* Produce and analyze sales reports, creating action plans for improvement.
* Regularly review SDR calls to evaluate communication, product knowledge, and objection handling, identifying coaching needs.
* Conduct one-on-one coaching and group training sessions to develop sales skills and product understanding.
* Support and motivate SDRs to maintain high morale and achieve targets, especially outside core hours.
* Track individual and team sales metrics to measure performance and coaching impact.
You
This fast-paced role requires a passion for leadership and results, with the ability to handle objections and manage growth. Essential skills include:
* At least 2 years in a Sales Leadership role.
* Experience in coaching, tracking progress, and documenting results.
* Proven results in a Contact Centre environment.
* Ability to work autonomously outside standard hours.
Preferred experience includes:
* Familiarity with Salesforce for customer management.
* Experience with High Velocity Sales tools.
* Ability to switch between coaching and leadership, clearly managing stakeholder boundaries.
