As part of the Building Services team, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects from design through to commissioning and handover — working closely with engineers, contractors, the client, and end users.
You’ll lead on all aspects of project delivery, including scope development, procurement, cost control, and programme management, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This role will particularly suit someone with experience in HVAC systems, mechanical building services, or statutory compliance works within large estates, public sector, or defence environments.
What do you need?
Proven experience delivering Building Services or HVAC projects, ideally within complex or secure sites
Experience managing projects up to £30 million in value, across multiple buildings or facilities
Strong understanding of building compliance, mechanical systems, and health & safety regulations
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and supply chain partners
Solid understanding of Building Regulations, British Standards, CDM Regulations, and industry best practice
Ideally qualified with a Degree, HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Professional certification such as APM PMQ, SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH is advantageous

Location: Portsmouth Naval Base
British Passport is required
Salary: Up to £64,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
