LDA Design is currently looking for talented urban designers and landscape architects at the start of their careers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth. Dont miss out. You will need to have strong design skills, be comfortable communicating your ideas and passionate about making change happen. Ideally, you will have some experience working in a consultancy on public realm or urban design projects, but what matters most is the way that you think, and your belief in landscape as the building block of place. We are looking for:
Strong conceptual urban design, landscape and public realm design skills
Strategic thinking and good appreciation of placemaking principles
Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
Proficiency in the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino and ideally Revit.
In return, you will get to work on some of the UKs most important placemaking projects addressing todays key drivers including climate breakdown, biodiversity loss and growing social inequity.
In fact our work, which focusses on the biggest outcomes for communities and for our clients, has never been more urgent. We are future-proofing the recovery of towns; helping to get vital new infrastructure over the line; making streets safer, cleaner, greener; turning tired estates into great places to live and connecting people to nature to improve health and wellbeing.
Join any one of our eight studios (Bristol, Cambridge, Exeter, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Oxford and Peterborough) and you will become part of a warm, friendly, inclusive team eager to see you grow your career and flourish, with a great, competitive benefits package to support you.
We are a 100% employee-owned practice, with firm beliefs in the power of the collective. Being employee-owned means everyone at LDA has a say in how the business is run and takes responsibility for its success.
So, if you are interested, please email your CV, a brief statement introducing yourself, and a portfolio of reference projects that illustrate your experience (5Mb max) to Anne South at together with a signed copy of our Candidate Privacy notice.
It would also help us if you could complete this short Equality and Diversity survey (confidential). This is optional, but by completing this form you will help us to become a more diverse organisation.
