Were looking for a proactive individual to lead and evolve our health and safety function across a complex production, blending, and warehouse environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of H&S in a business thats scaling rapidly and values common-sense, practical solutions.
What Youll Be Doing:
Own and implement a robust Health & Safety Management System, conducting gap analysis and driving improvements.
Ensure compliance with key regulations including COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, and DSEAR.
Lead fire and risk assessments, manage audits (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001), and support waste handling strategies.
Engage with stakeholders across logistics, manufacturing, and facilities to embed a safety-first culture.
Deliver training, mentor teams, and support change management initiatives.
Strategically zoom out to plan and zoom in to deliver balancing vision with hands-on execution.
What Were Looking For:
A qualified Health & Safety Manager (NEBOSH General Certificate with Fire essential; Diploma desirable).
Experience in manufacturing environments ideally with exposure to blending vessels, chemicals, and logistics.
Strong auditing experience and familiarity with ISO standards.
A confident communicator who can influence at all levels and bring energy to training and engagement.
Someone with a can-do attitude, ready to be a one-person H&S powerhouse.
