Office Assistant
This is an excellent entry point into a career in office administration, people operations, and executive support. You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of business functions, supported by structured training and close exposure to senior team members.
Reporting to the People/Office Manager and the EA to the President of Hybrid, you will support the wider management team across a range of tasks including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting hospitality, and general office support.
We are looking for someone with an interest in business management, educated to GCSE/A-Level standard or above.
The role involves a range of administrative and coordination tasks supporting daily office operations.
No two days are the same and you will develop a broad range of skills for future career opportunities!
Key Responsibilities
* Administration: Calendar Management, Photocopying, scanning
* Reception: Acting as first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls
* Office Support: Travel bookings, Office Stationery, Volunteering Days
* HR Support: Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes via the HRIS system, gaining exposure to core HR administration practices.
General Duties
* Preparing meeting rooms and supporting internal meetings
* Providing general administrative support to senior staff
* Ensuring shared office spaces are kept organised and presentable
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous administrative or office experience is desirable but not essential
* Working knowledge of equipment, like printers and copiers
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word and Outlook, in particular)
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
