We have a great opportunity for someone to join our award-winning Pension Risk Transfer business as a Senior Pensions Data Loading Specialist on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will build calculation models, load, check, and sign off on customer data into L&G’s Pension Administration System. You will also issue key customer communications as part of this interesting and varied role. This is a hybrid working opportunity, allowing flexible work between our Glasgow Office and your home.
What you'll be doing:
1. Independently analyse scheme data, build calculation models, and load scheme-specific benefits into the administration system.
2. Complete test calculations to ensure accurate customer quotes and payments, aligning with benefit specifications and SLAs.
3. Produce and issue member correspondence reflecting scheme benefits and notifying customers of their entitlements, liaising with third-party printers as needed.
4. Check and sign off scheme loads and member correspondence completed by team members.
5. Support clients internally and externally, resolving enquiries within SLAs.
6. Maintain a full audit trail for all data items, including testing and documenting processes for consistency.
7. Keep internal customers and relevant third parties updated on key information impacting their processing to ensure fair treatment of end customers.
Who we're looking for:
1. Understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes, including their structure and administration.
2. Knowledge of GDPR, Money Laundering, Treating Customers Fairly, and Breach Guidelines.
3. Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills.
4. Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
5. Accurate and cost-effective service delivery, with proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
6. Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize, and escalate when necessary.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Relevant pension qualifications (e.g., CII, PMI) or industry experience preferred.
