Multiskilled Engineer
Location: Raceview Hatchery Ballymena
Hours: Mon-Friday
We're looking for a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Hatchery Engineering Team. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with automated machinery, and improving equipment performance, this role offers long-term stability, variety, and the chance to make a real impact across two modern hatchery sites.
What You'll Do
* Maintain and repair hatchery machinery and vehicles.
* Lead fault-finding and re-engineering activities on automated equipment.
* Support contractor management and installation projects.
* Carry out statutory inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Monitor energy usage using BMS systems.
* Assist with spare parts management and stock control.
* Provide callout support across both sites.
What We're Looking For
* Time/Skill-Served Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) – Electrical Bias essential.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on automated machinery.
* Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
* Good reasoning, organisation, and IT skills.
* 17th/18th Edition.
