As our Fundraising Officer (Corporate) you will be a key member of the income generation team for Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity, joining at an exciting time following significant growth in revenue generation. You’ll be driving our corporate fundraising efforts, delivering our ambitious plans and meeting financial targets.
You will lead innovative fundraising campaigns, foster and manage corporate relationships and ensure exceptional supporter experiences. Your role will encompass corporate campaigning and working with local and regional businesses to maximise support and donations to the charity.
In this role you will collaborate with the wider team to ensure a unified and effective approach to fundraising to ensure that the charity is financially sustainable and widely recognised by local organisations. You will support the promotion and delivery of significant events, provide excellent stewardship and enhance supporter journeys. Your proactive, can-do attitude and dedication will play a crucial role in achieving substantial revenue growth and driving the success of our strategic initiatives.
At all times you will ensure that you operate effectively and efficiently in compliance with legislation, Charity Commission guidelines, organisational policies and financial structures.
Main duties of the job
·To develop and formalise a corporate pipeline, leading to new and sustainable corporate partnerships for the charity
·To take the lead on delivering our existing initiatives including our annual Overseas Challenge programme, Venture 100, bi-annual black-tie dinner and other events that support income generation from local and regional businesses
·To identify innovative ways to generate sustainable income from companies and their staff
·To establish and maintain relationships with solicitors and wealth advisors and oversee and manage our charity’s part in the annual Legacy Action Week event
·To secure corporate sponsorships for fundraising events and campaigns against an agreed target
·To monitor and report on all income received from businesses to ensure that agreed targets are met
·To research relevant market trends using our database, internet and networks to prioritise opportunities and develop effective corporate fundraising initiatives

Essential criteria
1. •Postgraduate/graduate diploma level in specific field or equivalent professional experience
2. •Fundraising experience
3. •Knowledge of charity sector
4. •Excellent knowledge of CRM software and record keeping.
5. •Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks with varying deadlines and to pivot when required
