We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head a Private Client Department within a well-established law firm. The role is a full time position, paying £60,000 - £85,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of around 30 professionals across multiple offices.
2. Set and implement the department's strategic direction.
3. Ensure high standards of service in complex areas including trusts, wills, probate, and estate planning.
4. Oversee all aspects of employee management, supported by HR.
5. Maintain strong client relationships with professionalism and care.
6. Drive business development initiatives and departmental growth.
7. Provide technical supervision and mentorship to the team.
8. Manage your own caseload.
Skills Required
9. Proven experience in team leadership and departmental management.
10. Strong expertise in private client law, ideally including trusts.
11. A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
12. Confidence in managing performance, mentoring staff, and driving growth.
13. Minimum 10 years PQE.
