About The Role: PSV/HGV Engineer
Do you want to be part of our energetic team of mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? If yes, then this Skilled Engineer position could just be the job for you!

Key Responsibilities
* Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing, repairs and vehicle inspections in accordance with FirstBus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
* To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
* To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
* Maintain and develop technical skills as required
* Attend and assist on vehicle breakdowns
* Road-testing vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairs

* Location: Colchester
* Working Hours: 39 hours per week - 4 days over 7 - rotating pattern of early and late shifts 06:00-16:00 and 14:30-00:30
* Pay Rate: £23.69 per hour (£48,043 per annum) with a weekend premium rate of £24.72 per hour if your shifts run over a weekend
About You
* Do you have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics?
* Do you have a valid UK driver's licence?
* A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
* Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience will be considered (HGV)
* Do you have Right to Work in the UK?
