We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Bangkok-based team. In this role, you will support senior project managers on various projects for our clients.
Job Specification & Skill Set
* Assist Project Managers and Project Directors in project control and reporting.
* Draft project programmes and monitor project progress.
* Monitor project costs against budgets.
* Manage key project issues as directed.
* Assist in managing consultants and contractors.
* Develop and maintain risk registers.
* Support contract administration and change control processes.
* Prepare detailed project implementation programs and monitor performance.
* Liaise with local authorities for project authorization.
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
* Implement quality assurance systems for design, construction, and administration.
* Attend meetings, record, and control minutes.
Person Specification
* BA degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
* Understanding of project management principles.
* Technical qualification in project management; PMP certification is a plus.
* At least five years of technical experience in multi-location retail construction projects.
* Good technical writing skills and ability to read drawings and tender documents.
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in English (spoken and written).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, and commercially aware.
