Our IT function is evolving rapidly, and this role will play a crucial part in modernising our systems, strengthening cyber security, and leading our transition to Microsoft 365 across a multi-site organisation.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Group IT Manager to lead technical operations, oversee cloud and infrastructure systems, and deliver a full migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
Technical Responsibilities
* Administer Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams)
* Manage Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA and conditional access
* Oversee multi-site IT infrastructure, networking and endpoint management
* Implement cyber security controls and risk management processes
* Manage outsourced IT provider performance and SLAs
* Lead rollout of hardware/software upgrades
Project Responsibilities
* Plan and lead the cloud migration to Microsoft 365
* Configure SharePoint storage and permissions
* Produce user training and technical documentation
* Support adoption of digital working practices
Essential Skills
* Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
* Multi-site IT operations management
* Hands‑on troubleshooting (network, hardware, cloud)
* Experience delivering IT change/migration projects
Desirable
* Google Workspace administration
* MDM tools (Intune preferred)
* Cyber Essentials / ISO27001 awareness
