Accounts Senior Manager - Media & Entertainment Sector
We are currently representing an exceptional opportunity with a leading boutique accountancy practice specialising in the media, entertainment, and creative industries. Renowned for their expertise and client base of high-profile talent across music, film, television, sport, and high-net-worth individuals, this firm has built its reputation over four decades as a trusted adviser to some of the most celebrated names in the industry.
This role has been created to support the leadership team by taking on a significant portion of the financial reporting partner's workload. For the right individual, there is clear potential to progress into a leadership position within the firm. Based in their West End offices, you will be joining a close-knit and highly collaborative team where personality, commercial awareness, and technical expertise are equally valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
* Reviewing VAT returns and providing oversight to the business management team.
* Leading on royalty examinations and other specialist assignments.
* Managing, mentoring, and developing team members.
* Supporting compliance, team training, billing, and budgeting processes.
Candidate Profile:
* ACA qualified with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
* Holds or is eligible to hold a practising certificate.
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and familiarity with IFRS.
* Proven experience in managing client relationships and leading teams.
* Background in the media, music, or entertainment sector is highly advantageous.
* Commercially minded, proactive, and an excellent communicator with leadership potential.
