NK Motors Ltd is a fast-growing, multi-site automotive group based in Derby and Nottingham. Alongside our established main dealer and used car operations, we are building an exciting new Trade 2 Trade division within the group.
We are now recruiting a commercially minded Group Used Stock & Trade Analyst to play a key role in stock control, pricing strategy and trade performance across the business.
The Role
This is a performance-driven role focused on stock analytics, margin protection and strategic buying/disposal.
Key responsibilities:
* Analyse used vehicle stock performance across multiple sites
* Monitor stock age profile and implement exit strategies
* Manage pricing strategy in line with live market data
* Protect and improve profit per unit (PPU)
* Work alongside the buying team to support acquisition decisions
* Be a dedicated buyer for our Prestige department & our Long Eaton Used Car Centre
* Develop and grow a Trade 2 Trade disposal channel
* Track KPIs including stock turn, days in stock and ROI
* Monitor Auto Trader and market intelligence platforms
This role reports directly to senior leadership and offers real influence over group performance.
Requirements
* Previous motor trade experience (essential)
* Strong knowledge of Sports, Prestige and Luxury Vehicles
* Experience in using online auction and buying / selling platforms
* Have a good contact network of used car buyers and sellers within the Motor Trade
* Strong understanding of used car pricing and stock turn
* Experience in stock control or buying preferred
* Confident using Excel and digital platforms
* Commercial awareness and analytical mindset
* Ability to work independently and make decisive calls
* Full UK driving licence (required – travel between sites necessary)

Pay: £45,000.00-£57,000.00 per year

* Motor Trade : 3 years (required)
* Sales management or Used car buying: 2 years (required)
* Dealership General Manager : 1 year (preferred)
