My client, a leading provider of advanced security solutions, is looking to hire a Sales Manager to support the promotion of their products within the worldwide Defence and Homeland Security community.
This is a hybrid role, requiring international travel at at least one day a week in the Cambridge/East Anglia Area.
Responsibilities:
* Promote products within the Defence and Homeland Security community
* Deliver individual sales targets and maintain the company's reputation
* Close sales with integrators and end users
* Create and execute a strategy to increase sales and lead major project bids
* Maintain records of all sales activity using CRM system
* Identify and close high-value prospects
* Travel extensively within the nominated region for client visits and product demonstrations
* Build business relationships with potential new customers
* Maintain and communicate short and long-term business development plans
* Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)

* Travel extensively within the nominated region for client visits and product demonstrations

* Help develop comprehensive programme capture plans
* Maintain and communicate short and long-term business development plans
* Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
Requirements:
* Dynamic, can-do attitude
* Strong communications and presentation skills
* Technical competence with the ability to understand and communicate new concepts and solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
* 5+ years of experience in a technical discipline or sales role in a related industry
* Ability to obtain UK security clearance
* Full UK Driving licence
