Overview of Role:
As a cleaning operative, you will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning service that complies with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Ensure that all assigned areas are clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times to improve customer experience.
2. Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, adhering to operational standards.
3. Present yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
4. Carry out all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
5. Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting when necessary.
6. Conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
7. Assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
8. Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
9. Take responsibility for maintaining your area to a high standard.
10. Contribute to positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
11. Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
12. Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager.
About You:
* Good time management skills.
* Positive, professional, and proactive attitude.

* Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
