Pay: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)

About the Client
The Probation Service is a statutory criminal justice agency responsible for supervising high-risk offenders released into the community.
Role Overview
We are seeking an organized and reliable individual to join the Probation Service as a Case Administrator. Your role will involve supporting staff and individuals on probation through daily administrative tasks such as managing paperwork, updating records, answering calls, and scheduling appointments. You will contribute to a team dedicated to community support and reducing re-offending.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records in our systems
* Arrange meetings and appointments
* Handle telephone calls, emails, and postal correspondence
* Assist visitors at reception and on the phone
* Organize equipment and materials for the team
* Manage petty cash, travel expenses, and vouchers
* Support general office duties and meeting documentation
* Engage with probation clients, including those who may be upset or angry
* Follow safeguarding and safety procedures
* Provide occasional support to other local offices
Candidate Requirements
* Basic IT and typing skills, including Word and basic Excel
* Clear and confident communication skills
* A calm, fair, and professional approach when interacting with others
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Additional Information
* Successful candidates will need to pass identity and security checks, which may take several weeks.
