Job Overview:
At Moorlands Grange, we provide short-term stays lasting 4-6 weeks in a residential setting to prevent physical decline and improve overall wellbeing. Our purpose? To support individuals who are ready to be discharged from hospital or those who may not have access to crucial rehabilitation and reablement support in their homes .
As a Domestic Assistant at Moorlands Grange, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living space for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to creating a homely atmosphere will contribute to the well-being and happiness of those we care for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out cleaning duties in resident rooms, communal areas, and other spaces to high standards.
* Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
* Work collaboratively with the wider care team to respond to specific cleaning needs.
* Uphold infection control procedures to guarantee the health and safety of residents and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar domestic role is advantageous but not essential.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
* A positive and approachable attitude towards residents, staff, and visitors.
* Basic understanding of practical hygiene and infection control practices.
