We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling discrepancies.
* Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Process invoices and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
* Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits as required.
* Utilise accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
* Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial data and reporting.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
